TIPS BEFORE YOUR SESSION:
Portraits
- Calculate time to the studio / or location of session.
- Wax eyebrows and any unwanted hair.
- Get a manicure. If feet are shown, get a pedicure.
- A pro - makeup artist is highly recommended always. Some makeup is better than NONE. Be sure to book the makeup artist at least 3 hours ahead. Calculate traffic.
- Book hair appointment the day before the shoot.
- Bring brush / comb and or makeup for TOUCH UPS ONLY. Be mindful of your allotted time.
- Make sure all clothes are ironed.
- Bring lip balm or lip gloss (applies for males too!)
- Bring the correct undergarments. If you don't want it to show in your photos, then it shouldn't be shown during the session.
- Moisturize. PUT ON LOTION PLEASE.
- Pack the day before. Ensure you won't forget anything.
- Arrive on time!
People tend to ask "Can you photoshop this or that?" Sometimes it can be done, sometimes it can't. Every image is different. Photoshop can do amazing fixes but it CAN'T fix everything. The more prepared you are , the better your images will be.
